Friday, Feb. 3 was National Wear Red Day, and people all over the country wore red to promote awareness of women's heart health.
National Wear Red Day was initiated in 2003 by the American Heart Association and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute to raise awareness about heart disease being the No. 1 killer of women. It is held on the first Friday in February every year.
