High Fashion comes to White Castle

Teller x White Castle

Locally-based White Castle recently teamed up with fashion designer Telfar Clemens to redesign uniforms for the chain's 10,000 employees.

The new uniform design combines the crisp appearance of a collared shirt with the comfort of a t-shirt and features White Castle's signature royal blue hue with yellow contrast stitching.

Additionally, a limited-edition capsule collection, Telfar x White Castle, was released, featuring the brands' mash-up logo and design details celebrating communities in New York that house White Castles: Bronx, Bushwick, East New York, Harlem, and LeFrak City, Queens.

Items in the collection are available for order online, and proceeds will go to the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights LIBERTY AND JUSTICE fund to pay bail for Minors held on Rikers Island. Plans are in place to expand the location-specific streetwear collection to Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis and Columbus.

As a result of the collaboration, Clemens was inducted into White Castle's Cravers Hall of Fame, an honor that comes with such accolades as a custom plaque and a guarantee to receive one Crave Case per month.
